Audience favorite Stephen Prutsman will play the Mozart Piano Concerto in C minor in the opening Festival concert. “Conga” by Marquez will have you dancing in your seats. Conductor/composer Allan Pollack will present his piece “A Summer Evening at the Boonville Fair,” that musically evokes the many festive aspects of the annual county fair. A fun, upbeat concert that everyone will enjoy.

“Pianist Stephen Prutsman has won major classical music competitions, he’s written arrangements for string quartets and pop stars and he writes jazz music for himself to play. So which musical world exactly does Prutsman live in? Not one in particular, Prutsman says. Just his own.” –Suzanne Schaffer, American Public Media: Performance Today
