Piano Series: Robin Sutherland 2019

Most known for his playing of Bach, Robin Sutherland will contrast some Bach works with pieces by other composers in the same key. This concert will pair Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in C-sharp Major (BWV 848) with “partners,” the menuet movement of Ravel’s Sonatine, among others. After intermission, he will take us on an excursion from Bach’s Partita No. 2 in C minor (BWV 826) to Haydn’s Sonata in C minor (Hob XVI/20).
