DESCRIPTION:Come join a small group of seasoned singers who want to hone their skills and become better at their craft. If you sing in a local chorus\, at church\, at events\, or even privately\, this class will help you find better vocal technique and artistry\, and will help you refine your voice and performance skills. This class is best for singers who have taken our Basics of Singing course or who have had some private training. We’ll explore all genres\, from Opera to Art Song to Musical Theater and more. Music will be assigned based on your skill level. Accompaniments will be sent for you to work on your songs in class. The artistic leadership of this dynamic duo is a wonderful addition to the Festival\, and has made possible an ongoing series of courses in various aspects of singing.

You will learn about the acting technique called “monologuing” which is essential to creating a character and putting a song across.
