Who is eligible for the Youth ticket price?
As part of our commitment to education, the Festival offers a Youth ticket price level for use by persons age sixteen and under. The Youth price level applies to any seat at any concert.
I can’t use my paid live event ticket. Can I get a refund?
The Festival does not refund paid live event ticket purchases unless the ticketed concert is cancelled. However, should you find you are unable to use your ticket to an uncancelled live concert, please contact us before the day of the concert to arrange to donate it for resale, for which we would provide a donation receipt for the face value of your ticket.
Cotton Auditorium “D” seats and mobility challenges
We’re aware that the fact that—when offered—the only “D” seats in Cotton Auditorium are all in the balcony poses a problem for patrons with mobility challenges. Only for Cotton Auditorium events where “D” seats are offered, patrons with mobility challenges who would otherwise choose “D” seats—which only exist in the balcony of this venue—are requested to contact the Festival office at (707) 937-2044, M–F 10:00AM–4:00PM.

Will tent poles impact my sight lines?
There are four tent poles that can impact sight lines, located at the outer edges of the center section; on the outside ends of center section rows (approximately) 5 and 18 (the exact row varies from year to year). Because of the very wide stage and the wide variety of ways it’s used, it’s impossible to predict their impact on sight lines for a particular seat or performance. With in-person sales at the tent, we encourage patrons to step into the tent and gauge for themselves whether the poles will impact their view from a given seat for a particular performance. For online sales, there currently is no way for patrons to make such an assessment. Our online ticketing provider is working on development of a method of indicating the impact of the poles on sight lines in our online seating charts, and this will be part of a future improvement. In the meantime, visiting the tent is the only sure way to gauge this.
Accessibility
Parking and Accessibility
All parking at the Mendocino Music Festival is free. As always, to avoid inconveniencing others, please take care when parking not to block any driveways, garages or other features. While the Festival is an important part of the community, the community is also a very important part of the Festival, which could not exist without the local community’s participation and support.
Tent Concert Hall
For concerts at the Tent Concert Hall, there is street parking the length of Main Street (where the Tent Concert Hall is situated), on the next two parallel streets (Albion and Ukiah), and on all the cross streets (Heeser, Kasten, Lansing, etc.). The existence of numerous mid-block footpaths makes walks short and pleasant, even when parked 2-3 blocks away from Main Street. Because parking on Main Street is limited (and shared with our neighbor businesses), we ask our valued orchestra musicians to park away from Main Street.
There are four accessible parking spaces on Main Street just east of the Ford House driveway, and additional spaces inside the Ford House driveway. Patrons using wheelchairs or walkers, or for whom the uneven ground of the headlands could pose a challenge, are welcome to disembark directly to the Festival’s boardwalk, which connects the Main Street sidewalk no-parking drop-off area (at the main entrance to the grounds) to the northeast door (door number 2) of the Tent Concert Hall.
Preston Hall
For concerts at Preston Hall (part of the Mendocino Presbyterian Church complex), there are spaces along both sides of Main Street and the surrounding streets. There is also limited parking in an on-premises lot that includes several accessible parking spaces, and an overflow lot (also used by beachgoers) behind and below the church. An accessible ramp leads to the front entrance.
Cotton Auditorium
For concerts at Cotton Auditorium in Fort Bragg, there is a free parking lot one block south of the venue, and copious parking on the surrounding streets. There are several accessible parking spaces immediately south of the venue entrance, and a no-parking drop-off area directly in front. An accessible ramp leads to the front entrance.
Matheson Performing Arts Center
For concerts at Matheson Performing Arts Center, there is parking in an adjacent lot, and on the surrounding streets. An accessible ramp leads from accessible parking on the north side of the venue to the front entrance.
Accessible Seating at All Venues
All Mendocino Music Festival venues offer accessible seating that may be reserved in the same manner and under the same conditions as all other ticket sales (online, in person, or by phone). Accessible seating consists of a designated wheelchair space (with no seat provided) next to a designated Companion Seat (seat provided), which patrons requiring accessible seating may reserve in advance (online, by phone or at the box office), or purchase at the door (subject to availability). Upon entry, volunteer ushers assist patrons with locating their reserved seats and getting situated.

Health and Safety
What health precautions are taken?
The safety and comfort of our patrons is paramount. At minimum, we follow protocols set by local public health authorities, at times exceeding them. While it’s not possible to be absolutely certain what conditions will exist come July, we currently do not anticipate any specific requirements for attending this July’s concert season.
What is the Festival’s policy on public-health-related cancellations?
As each July approaches, we’ll closely follow the official recommendations of local and state public health authorities regarding live events. In the event of a live event cancellation, ticket buyers will be contacted and offered a range of options, including an immediate refund of the full value of their purchased ticket(s).
Virtual (Online) Events
What are virtual events, and how do they work?
While we remain dedicated to bringing live, in-person musical experiences to the Mendocino Coast, one silver lining of the pandemic has been the Festival’s creation of live-streamed and recorded content that can be enjoyed at home. Most of these programs are currently free.
Live-streamed events:
An online ticket “purchase” (in quotes because many MMF virtual events are free, but require a free ticket) gets you a link (in the form of a black button or bar) that connects your device with that event at the appointed start time. The link is also emailed to you, and can be forwarded.
Encore! (replay) events:
“Encore!” identifies recorded programs (also currently free) you can watch at your convenience. Ticketing for “Encore!” programs works the same as our livestream or other virtual events. You’ll be provided with a link for each ticketed program, which, when clicked (or tapped), connects you with that program. You’ll also receive an email link that can be forwarded.
