After the renunciation of his “immortal beloved,” in social withdrawal and complete deafness, Beethoven forged a final style.

The Festival Orchestra also performs Beethoven’s majestic Eroica Symphony, full of drama and pathos. Two defining symphonic masterpieces from Beethoven’s Heroic Period, and a soloist of international repute.
