General parking for Festival patrons is free, in the form of street parking on the streets of Mendocino. There are spaces the length of Main Street (where the Tent Concert Hall is situated), on the next two parallel streets (Albion and Ukiah), and on all the cross streets (Heeser, Kasten, Lansing, etc.). The existence of numerous mid-block footpaths makes walks short and pleasant, even when parked 2-3 blocks away from Main Street.
Parking for Preston Hall concerts is the same, with the addition of limited parking in an on-premises lot that includes several accessible parking spaces, and an overflow lot (also used by beachgoers) behind and below the church.
Add or join a carpool to and from Festival events. Use this handy tool to coordinate, whether offering rides for others, or seeking rides for yourself to and/or from Festival events.
For patrons with physical disabilities, there are four accessible parking spaces on Main Street just east of the Ford House driveway, and additional spaces inside the Ford House driveway. Patrons using wheelchairs or walkers, or for whom the uneven ground of the headlands could pose a challenge, are welcome to disembark directly to the Festival’s boardwalk, which connects with the Main Street sidewalk and extends continuously from the Main Street sidewalk entrance to the northeast door (door number 2) of the Tent Concert Hall. Preston Hall has a small on-premises lot with a limited number of accessible parking spaces.
As always, to avoid inconveniencing others, please take care when parking not to block any driveways, garages or other features. While the Festival is an important part of the community, the community is also a very important part of the Festival, which could not exist without the local community’s participation and support.
