The generosity of more than 80 local families who offer housing for our orchestra members, big band players, and opera singers is an essential part of the Festival’s existence.
If you have a spare bedroom, a guest house, or even an RV that you can offer for one to two weeks during the Festival, that would be wonderful, and you could feel the glow of helping keep great music available on the Mendocino Coast. As a token of our gratitude you’ll receive complimentary tickets and an invitation to a picnic with the orchestra.
Creating an intimate community of musicians and audiences is a major part of the Festival’s mission. Many people host every July because they’re looking forward to meeting a new musician; are anticipating the visit of a musician who has become a friend; or enjoy a vivid glimpse into the world of a professional musician.
