Fingerstyle guitar master Alex de Grassi and Grammy Award-winning classical guitarist Andrew York will perform solo and duo, and will also be joined by members of the Mendocino Summer Guitar Workshop in the premier of a composition for guitar orchestra.

Alex’s solo guitar compositions and recordings have inspired a whole generation of steel-string players, and Down Beat magazine says, “His touch is as exquisite as his lyricism…” A member of the renowned Los Angeles Guitar Quartet for 16 years, Guitar Player magazine says “Andrew York’s eclectic writing and playing constitute one of the hippest styles in American classical guitar…”
