Jacksonport, with special guest Julian Pollack

Cuban-American artist and musican John Fonseca Fatum is the solo creator of Jacksonport, named for the small Wisconsin town where he spent summers growing up. Now a Los Angeles-based songwriter, session drummer, record producer, and performer, with four studio records as Jacksonport and two more under his own name, he’s also worked with artists Sarah Jarosz, the Watkins Family Hour, Madison Cunningham, Jon Batiste, Aoife O’Donovan, Bella White, Liana Flores, Maya Hawke, Buck Meek, Joshua Crumbly, The Brother Brothers, Jack Symes, Wilsen, Bridget Kearney, Jefferson Hamer, Olive Klug, Jacob Jeffries, Lucy Clearwater, Benjamin Jaffe, and many more. For parts of this peformance, Fatum will be be joined by pianist Julian Pollack, who “deftly balances virtuosity with tenderness.” (Timeout New York).
