The award=winning and highly acclaimed band Le Vent du Nord is a leading force in Quebec’s progressive francophone folk movement. The group’s vast repertoire draws from both traditional sources and original compositions, while enhancing its hard-driving soulful music (rooted in the Celtic diaspora) with a broad range of global influences.
Le Vent du Nord must melt the snow in their native Quebec. Led by twin fiddles and hurdy-gurdy, driven by incessantly rattling foot percussion, the quintet’s unbridled energy rarely let up in this Light on the Shore concert.”

For 2021, the Festival is temporarily transplanted to a new indoor venue, the beautiful 1938 Cotton Auditorium in nearby Fort Bragg. One-hour concerts, no intermission, distanced, limited capacity, proof of vaccination required, masks required. Sell-outs are expected due to limited capacity.
Seats arranged in pairs must be purchased in pairs. Orders containing one of a pair of seats may be cancelled.
For the safety of our patrons, it is the Festival’s choice to maintain distanced seating. Allowing paired seats to be purchased individually would disrupt this aspect of our safety plan, which, for many patrons, is the basis of their decision to attend in 2021.
