One of America’s most eclectic immigrant composers is the incomparable Kurt Weill, with an array of music ranging from classical to Broadway. Join the Mattlock Duo (Jenny Matteucci and Daniel Lockert) and the Festival Chorale as they explore the breadth of Weill’s works, tracing his journey from the Weimar Republic, through his Paris years, and finally to his Broadway successes. The concert promises a glimpse into Weill’s diverse style, with selections ranging from German art songs, to French cabaret, to liturgical music.
