Sostenuto celebrates the Festival’s goals for its sustainable future, and honors the commitment of our hosts, Linda and Fedele Bauccio, to sustainable food. Fedele Bauccio is CEO of Bon Appétit Management Company, the innovative food-service company with over 650 cafés nationwide including eBay, MIT, and the Getty Center. In addition, Bon Appétit runs 12 standalone public restaurants, including four in San Francisco in partnership with celebrity chef Traci Des Jardins. Sostenuto is one in a series of culinary events that bring people together each year in celebration of music and the vibrant food and beverages of Mendocino; events that are also one of the principal ways the festival raises funds to ensure its long-term sustainability.
