Young People’s Musical Theater Workshop (July 11-12, 1-4PM)
This two-day intensive workshop will get to the nitty-gritty of the Musical Theater world. Singers will work on audition technique, monologues, performance etiquette, and more. Music will be hand chosen for potential casting, and Jenny Matteucci and Daniel Lockert will help fine tune performances. Students will finish the class with a better grasp of how to handle the tumultuous world of Musical Theater.
All classes are virtual; join in from anywhere!
Limited to ages 12-19Instructors: Jenny Matteucci and Daniel Lockert.
Saturday-Sunday, July 11-12, 1:00 PM-4:00 PM both days.

In 2017 Jenny Matteucci, who has an extensive background as a performer, choral director, and voice teacher, became the Festival Chorus Master; joined by her husband, Daniel Lockert, a marvelous accompanist and an outstanding language coach. The artistic leadership of this dynamic duo is a wonderful addition to the Festival, and has made possible an ongoing series of courses in various aspects of singing.
