Is it something in the bracing coastal air? Or is it a kind of fever? It seems this sparsely coastline boasts a far above average number of excellent a cappella groups, all singing for the love of it, while working jobs ranging from judge, to gardener, to doctor, to innkeeper, and more. This year has seen the birth of two new groups: Cor Unum, a mixed voice trio, and the Mendonoma Chamber Chorus. This concert will also include three ensembles who delighted the audience last season: men’s quintet Acafellas, women’s sextet In the Mix, and women’s trio River. There will be music from four centuries, everything from madrigals to do-wop.
